The Bagamayo Fruits Company was established in 2007 in Tanzania, in the district of Bagamoyo. The company practices large-scale organic farming. They began by focusing on pineapples and watermelon but now grow a variety of produce. Their goal is “To produce quality Pineapples/Fruits to achieve our Motto of ‘Promoting Healthy Living’ at the same to ensure good returns to our Investors.”
What’s available? Bagamoyo’s fresh vegetables include garlic, ginger, green bananas, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, cauliflower, lettuce, mushrooms, potatoes, green leaves, onions, beetroots, broccoli, cassava, celery, coriander and others. Their fruits include mangoes, oranges, ripe bananas, apples, kiwi, strawberries, paw paw and tangerines. Packaging is tailored to customer needs, so if you hate peeling garlic you’ll get them peeled.
Produce from Bagamoyo Fruits Company is distributed to select supermarkets and hospitality chains. By end of 2014 they hope to do business with East African produce Importers and processors.
