Superior Garden rooms has sea views which have interconnecting doors. The rooms are also air conditioned and they have a king size four poster bed with a private makuti thatch covered terrace.

The Manta Resort also has standard garden rooms that are open plan makuti thatched rooms in the garden, which have king size beds with mosquito net, open plan en-suite bathroom and a veranda.

The Manta Resort also offers other perks that include; guided tours to the resort, diving courses and services, look for the famous Pemba Flying Fox, snorkeling and picnic at Njao and Fundo. traditional sailing dhow ride, rides with the traditional “Ngalawa sailing vessel”, boat rides, fishing expeditions, lighthouse walk, and mingling with the local friendly community is also part of the fun experience.

A nice walk through a 45 minute-long path in the Ngezi rainforest which is home to Pemba Sunbirds, green pigeon, Colobus monkeys, and scops owl will awaken your sense of adventure. Other hikes and visits include the Chwaka ruins where the famous ruling family of Mazrui lived, where you can see their remains in six tombs, and the Mkama Ndume ruins where you’ll get a glimpse of the original architecture of Pemba that has Arab, Swahili and Portuguese influence and get to find out about the legend associated with it.
