As we come to the end of the year 2011, we cannot even phantom the effects of the rains in Tanzania. Our prayers and thoughts are with all those affected by the floods in Dar- es Salaam and Tanzania as a whole.

By featuring this photo series, we lend our voice to the plight of our failing systems - the depilated, or lack thereof.  We hope that this gives us an opportunity to reflect on how we as individuals can pull our weight to make our environments more sustainable as the question remains, are we able to sustain our populations with even worse calamities?!

Our prayers and thoughts are with all those affected by this debacle.
