Sagana is a small town in Kirinyaga District in the central part of Kenya. It derives its name from the longest river in the country, the Tana River, also known as Thagana.

Rapids Camp boasts about 450m of the River Sagana frontage, which provides the benefits of one of the the largest waterfalls in Kenya, along with huge boulders suitable for rock climbing.
