Drawing inspiration from a mix of fabric, color and 50’s style ─ more experimental to create a vintage feel, Ugandan designer Solome Katongole recently unveiled her fall 2012 collection "Stripe Me Again”.

“Stripe Me Again” features the designer’s signature fabric, the Kikoyi (a fabric commonly used in the Ugandan traditional wear).

Solome loves the Kikoyi because it provides great texture and pattern; elegant, woven, wide and small stripes in different colors that add to a vintage style. She then paired the Kikoyi with different fabrics and embellishments while applying the 50's cuts to create elegant pieces of high waisted, fitted bodice and full skirts seen in the collection.
We absolutely adore the divine pieces a must have for any fashionista. See below the elegant pieces from the designer.
